Jacques is more famously know as a celebrity figure in The Cannes Film Festival. This film festival was founded in 1946, and is one of the world's oldest and most prestigious film feswtivals. This private festival is held annually (usually in May) at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, in the resort town of Cannes, in the south of France.

He could be somewhere in an undiscovered island of beautiful women or perhaps he could also be eaten by a whale somewhere in a remote ocean.
So the big question now is who could be going to Cannes Film Festival in place of him? Apparently Jacques D’Azur leaves no immediate kin, but an extensive last will and testament included an unidentified name that was heir to his lavish weekend at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
The official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, Stella Artois 4%, are helping with the search for Jacques’ true heir, and have created a website, which it is hoped will spread the word and identify this person. It is rumored the heir could be someone with little or no previous connection to Jacques D’Azur or Cannes.
