Good Friday Christians

Ever noticed the church attendance last Good Friday? More Christians are attracted to Good Friday and Christmas.

Good Friday and Christmas are two important events in Christian world and they are also the most popular ones.

In reality however the most important event in Christianity is the Resurrection or Easter Sunday but sadly this is not as popular as Good Friday and Christmas.

There could be several explanations why Christians behave as such. Among which is the mere fact that we are animals. Yes we are rational animals but still animals.

As animals we behaved in accordance with our animalistic instinct. Animals look for pleasures and avoid pains. Christmas is just full of fun and pleasures. Animals are also hungry for blood. The crucifixion and death of Jesus was indeed pretty much bloody hence it is very much attractive to blood-thirsty animals.

The resurrection is the most important event in Christianity. St Paul said that if Jesus did rise from the dead our faith will be useless. This level of thinking is no longer within the realm of men and women’s animalistic instinct. This will only make sense if the rational animal Christians will just make use of their reason and be more rational.
