Ten Reasons Why Judas should be in Heaven

Did Judas go to hell or in heaven?

There are so much injustice done to Judas. It is about time for us to change this error. Here are ten reasons why Judas should be in heaven.

1. Judas passed the test; he was one of the twelve. He is therefore willing to sell everything he owns, doesn’t mind not attending his parents funeral, or sleeping anywhere when the evening comes.

2. Benefit of the doubt. No one really knew what his real motive in betraying Jesus was. If he wanted him dead why did he commit suicide?

3. If the beliefs of those misguided are true, i.e. crucifixion was absolutely necessary for our salvation, then Judas is a hero for without him there could be no crucifixion.

4. He was not actually happy of what he did, hence he committed suicide.
5. He must be repentant of his actions otherwise he should be rejoicing when Jesus was crucified.

6. He was created in God’s image and likeness. Where else could one be if he is God’s image and likeness.

7. God loves him unconditionally. Jesus prepares a mansion for the twelve and that includes Judas Iscariot.

8. God always say “I forgive.”

9. His suicide could be his way of saying, “I’m sorry.”

10. If in the hour of death a person is sorry for his sins then he is saved. Again if he was regretful and contrite of what he had done he should have not killed himself.

A Christian Blog

A Christian blog should be a blog that covers a comprehensive range of topics.

Christian blog should be religious in nature but the message should be sensible to anyone, Christians and non-Christians alike. To fellow Christian bloggers, to religious, practicing Christians, professionals, ordinary workers, unemployed, young and olds, atheist, non-believers, religiously neutrals or simply to everyone.

Christian life is about life in general. Christian life is about God. And God is love. Love is what everyone wants, to love and be loved in return. A loving experience is an expereince of God, it is an experience of a typical Christian life.

Thanks for visiting my Christian blog. God bless

Christian Name, John

John is a very common name for Christians. It can be one of the most popular name for Christians and even non Christians.

So where did this Chirstian name John originates? Who is the first Christian named John? How many Christians are named John or how many non-Christians have this name, John?

When Elizabeth conceived St. John, Zecharia became mute because he doubted. He only got his speech back when he confirmed that the new born boy should be named John. Since then, the Christian name John became very popular.

Is the spostle John named after him? It's very unlikely because their difference in age is not realy that much. Perhaps John is already used before but not as popular now.

Some Chrisitans do not know that John the Evangelist is not the same person as St. John the apostle.St John (evangelist) died much earlier.

He was murdered because of one very spectacular dance performance. What a tragic end for St. John. Many others Christians named John also had tragic deaths. Many Johns had been martyred. John indeed is a good name, a good name for Christian. Would you like to name your son, John? Would you like him to follow the foot steps of St. John and the others Christians - St. Johns?

Saint Judas Iscariot

Psychology was not yet born during the time of Judas hence very few understood his circumstance.

The mere fact that Judas committed suicide proved that he regreted so much the consequence of his action.

Did he really want to betray Jesus or did he simply want him to act now, i.e. start the revolution. Unfortunately Judas understanding of revolution is different to that of Jesus.

Perhaps Saint Judas Iscariot was thinking of a bloody one while Jesus meant using the power of love to overcome the enemy.

Poor Judas, all he needed to say was 'I'm sorry.' but he took it too seriously to the point of taking his life.

The bottom line of this is that Judas was regretful, contrite and sorrowful. He should have seen a counselor but unfortunately none was existent during those days.

Happy fathers day to all Christian father bloggers like me. Treat yourself with a nice and cool Christian T shirt on this special day.

It's hard to be a father, i.e. to be a good Christian father to your children but it's worth doing the job. And this is enough reason for us to celebrate a special day for all of us.

Proverbs 3:11-12
My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline
and do not resent his rebuke,
because the LORD disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.

Christian Lion - ideal image for a religious t shirt

A lion is a very special animal. It is considered as the king of the jungle. It's dangerous, ready to kill. But a lion can be tamed.

A tamed lion is a christian lion. Taming lion is easy if you are a believer. Remember Daniel, he was thrown in the lion's den and yet, he came out unhurt. Because of this the king was converted.

I just think it's a good idea to wear a t shirt printed with an image of a tamed Christiann lion, indeed a christian t shirt.

Surely this will be eye catching and hopefully will bring others to faith.

The Christian Fish Symbol

The meaning of the symbol of fish in Christianity

The early Christians where constantly persecuted during those days. That was the time before the conversion of Constantino (the Roman emperor who saw the sign of the cross in the sky, won a war and became a Christian).

Worships and Christian cults were done in clandestine. Christians meet and recognized each other by a certain password, which is the fish sketch. It works just like in espionage. When a Christian needs to be identified by another Christian in a secret meeting, one will just draw this symbol unmindfully and the other will eventually got the message.

But what is the origin of this symbol? Perhaps they chose this symbol because loves to eat fish. His apostles were mostly fishermen. When he wanted to be recognized as the risen Lord, he ate fish with them. Yes fish has special meaning in their friendship.

But the most popularly accepted meaning is the Greek translation of fish ichthus which is an acronym for "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior" that is Iesous (Jesus) CHristos (Christ) THeou (God) Uiou (Son) Soter (Savior)

Outdoor Worsihp

Worship God outdoor is very nourishing to the soul. God made us beautiful ‘paintings’ and images for our viewing pleasures. The sunshine and the sunset are priceless gifts from him. The clear blue sky and the horizon – you can never ask for more.

The sermons on the mount are just one example in Christian history where the teachings of Jesus of the beatitudes are remembered in eternity.

The feeding of the five thousand people was an unduplicated Christian picnic of all time.

Eighty degrees Fahrenheit is just an ideal weather for an outdoor picnic-worship event. Just about the weather in Arizona. So what are we waiting for, let us go out and worship the king of kings, the most powerful God, the God who is love.

Are you a Christian who is missing the experience of worhisping God outdoor. Arizona could be the place to be. Check out Scottsdale real estate, help is just withing your click.

mint and dill and cummin

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 23:23-26.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You pay tithes of mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier things of the law: judgment and mercy and fidelity. (But) these you should have done, without neglecting the others. Blind guides, who strain out the gnat and swallow the camel! Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You cleanse the outside of cup and dish, but inside they are full of plunder and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee, cleanse first the inside of the cup, so that the outside also may be clean.

In typical harvest of any farm products, the Jews were required to pay tithes for them.

Mint, dill and cummin were ofcourse farm products but they were not as many in quatity compare to grains and the like. But since Pharisses were hypocrites, they still pay tithes on them.

This is a classic case when the primary became the secondary and the secondary became the primary.

A genuine Christian act comes from the heart, i.e. done because of love, and that which makes relationships stronger.

Take the case of going to mass on Sundays. The proper attitude should be, 'I want to attend the mass because I want to listen to the word of God, I want to be with the Lord and with my fellow Christians.' Some Christians simply go to mass to fulfill their Sunday obligations, just for the sake of attendance.

Be Tough

Christian life is just like running in a race, it’s just like a sports game, as St Paul tells us in his letter to the Corinthians, “. . . run in such a way that you may win . . . exercise self-control in all things . . . Corinthians 9:24-27)

Hunger for winning should be the driving force of everyone in living out the Gospel.

I get inspiration for my hunger for winning in the National Football League. I get too many inspirations from the different teams competing to win the Super Bowl. Winning this is culmination of the tournament in the largest professional American football league in the world. (Since its foundation during the twenties)

The largest professional American football league in the world, NFL was founded in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association (the league changed the name to the National Football League in 1922).

The following are my top three pick of players all coming from California 49ners.

Shaun Hill (born on January 9, 1980 in Parsons, Kansas) is an NFL quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. He attended the University of Maryland and played for the Minnesota Vikings in 2002 until 2006. He was then signed by 49ers and playing for the same as of this time. He is best known for scoring a touchdown on first NFL drive (December 9, 2007).

Scott McKillop (born March 4, 1986 in Monroeville, Pennsylvania) is an American football linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the University of Pittsburgh, he was considered as one of the top prospects linebaker in the 2009 NFL Draft and went in the fifth round

In his first season as a starter, the 6-foot-2, 245-pound "Mike" linebacker enjoyed one of the most productive seasons ever by a Pitt defender, finishing with 151 total tackles, the third highest single-season total in Pitt history.

He was leading candidate for the country's top defensive awards in 2008.

Kentwan Balmer (born on October 15, 1986 in Weldon, North Carolina) is a defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers.

He played during his college years for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He played high school football at Weldon High School in Weldon, North Carolina.
He started all twelve games at right defensive tackle, ranking second on the team with 59 tackles (33 solos), including 3.5 sacks for minus 26 yards, 9.5 stops for losses of 44 yards and four quarterback pressures. In 2005 he played 11 games with three starts and 17 tackles (5 for a loss) and 1 sack.

Balmer was selected in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft, 29th overall. He was originally drafted as a DT but was moved to DE due to the Niners 3-4 defensive scheme.

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 1:45-51.

The FigTree?

This passage is a bit confusing and I think the magic word that needs to be decoded is the 'fig tree'.

Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one about whom Moses wrote in the law, and also the prophets, Jesus, son of Joseph, from Nazareth." But Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come from Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see."

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, "Here is a true Israelite. There is no duplicity in him." Nathanael said to him, "How do you know me?" Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree."

Nathanael answered him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel." Jesus answered and said to him, "Do you believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this." And he said to him, "Amen, amen, I say to you, you will see the sky opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."

Why did Nathanael doubt something good could come from Nazareth? (note also that Jesus at one point ask a young man, 'why do you call me good? There is only one good, and that is God.')

By the way is Nathanael one of the twelve?

Nathanael is a true Israelite . . . no duplicity in him. (what is the sense of this?)

Jesus knew because he was sitting beneath a fig tree. (so what?)

and the all of a sudden Nathanael made the greatest confession, 'you are the son of God'. (what's the clue? Just because Jesus said he was sitting beneath a fig tree.)

I don't understand.

The Best of Time

Are you too much worried about the future or too regretful of the past? Then you must be missing the best of time. The best of time is NOW.

Don’t worry about the morrow for today has trouble of its own.

You cannot change the past, let go.

Make yourself be aware of the present time. Be conscious of all the things around you. How many kinds of sound do you hear? Feel your body in and out. Feel the air that goes into your nose as you breathe. Relax and be conscious of your feelings as you breathe out the air.

Look around you. Enjoy the beauty of nature. They are for your viewing pleasures. And it’s free. Indeed the best things in life are free. And the best time in life is now.

The time to be happy is now. The place to be happy is here. If you miss a minute of the present time, you missed sixty seconds of happiness.

Time is gold. It’s precious. Make the best of our time. And the only time to do it is NOW, yes right now.

Live a stress free life. Your past will be a happy one and your future looks good if you just keep on focusing your time on the present NOW.

Remind yourself how important time is, make it something very special for time is special. A very good suggestion is a very special watch, that will always tell you the present time.

check out http://www.bestoftime.com/ for a collection of men's and women's rolex watches. Don't be late.

Trinity is Love

God is Love therefore Trinity is Love

To understand Trinity one must understand first the meaning of mystery in theological context, i.e. mystery is not something that you cannot know but something that you can know but you cannot define. (God has no boundary hence you cannot define.)

Another thing is that the Trinity has nothing to do with numbers. When we say THREE persons, we shouldn't take it as numerical number in the same way that we quantify objects.

To understand Trinity is to experience God. To experience God is to experience love. The more you love, the more you become one with the beloved. The persons in the Trinity having loved each one to the highest degree realizes the true meaning of unity or oneness of persons. If you know how to love and you have experienced being loved, then you know the meaning of Trinity. Then you know that Trinity is love.

Clip-arts for Christian Theology Presentation

Clip-arts for Christian Theology Presentation
Christian theology is something heavy. This is not as palatable as showbiz stories and the like.

Whilst many are interested by heart but disposing oneself to this kind of business is not easy. This kind of disposition is echoed in Peter’s very popular alibi, The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

It is therefore the duty of a Theologian to present his theological thoughts in such a way that it will not appear to heavy to the readers.

One way to lighten this is by including some graphic materials which are appropriate to the topic. This will make things a bit easier to the readers.

Living out the Gospel

The gospel of Jesus can be expressed in many ways. Here are two examples. These words were not just said but they were actually lived out by the speakers:

“I will never be able to forgive myself if I will have to live with the knowledge that I could have done something and I did not do anything. If I fail, okay…At least I can face my God and say: I have tried everything I could do to the extent of sacrificing my life and my family.”
Ninoy Aquino

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 22:1-14.

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 22:1-14.

Jesus again in reply spoke to them in parables, saying, The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son.

He dispatched his servants to summon the invited guests to the feast, but they refused to come. A second time he sent other servants, saying, 'Tell those invited: "Behold, I have prepared my banquet, my calves and fattened cattle are killed, and everything is ready; come to the feast."' Some ignored the invitation and went away, one to his farm, another to his business. The rest laid hold of his servants, mistreated them, and killed them. The king was enraged and sent his troops, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.

Then he said to his servants, 'The feast is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy to come. Go out, therefore, into the main roads and invite to the feast whomever you find.' The servants went out into the streets and gathered all they found, bad and good alike, and the hall was filled with guests.

But when the king came in to meet the guests he saw a man there not dressed in a wedding garment. He said to him, 'My friend, how is it that you came in here without a wedding garment?' But he was reduced to silence. Then the king said to his attendants, 'Bind his hands and feet, and cast him into the darkness outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.' Many are invited, but few are chosen."

This is a classic case where context should be closely looked into.

1. The king does not sound to be Christian-like. Very mean. Not respecting others privacy. Vengeful. Sadist

2. Why is he so desperate to have a party to the point of inviting everyone, bad and good alike.

3. Why should everone dressed in a wedding garment?

4. Why not simply let him go, why torture the poor man?

5. Many are invited, but few are chosen? What! This doesn't make any sense. A. Many are invited but many opted not to come. And then everyone in the street bad and good came, looks like too many were chosen.

Did Jesus go to school?

God became man, a true man, i.e. not a magician, not a superman.

Though he was in the form of God he did not claim equality with God something to be grasped at.

The man Jesus had zero knowledge at birth for nothing comes into mind without passing through the senses.

How come he was able to argue, talk and discuss highly theological issues while he was just a boy of twelve?

Well the obvious answer is that he had his education. Perhaps he did not take up algebra and physics, but one thing for sure he studied the torah and the scriptures. Otherwise there is no chance for him to debate with those scholars.

Yes education is important. We all must have one.

Jesus never sang a song of praise

Jesus never sang a song of praise. So why do we have too?

Prayer is best started with song of praise. When we pray we need to have a sense of focus. All our mind, thoughts, and 'body' should be directed to God.

But animals as we are, our thoughts wander around. Our brain is fluid and plastic. It changes its shape the moment that you are reading this.

The best thing to have a sense of focus is to start your prayer with a song of praise. You can start with say three or five live and semi rock christian songs and then conclude it with about two solemn to very solemn christian music. After singing those christian worship songs, you will now be ready to pray. You are now more focus, your attention is now easily directed to God.

Jesus never sang a song of praise because he can simply achieve this mind-thought focusing to God by simply retreating into a deserted place.

(it's also nice to sing a song of praise before posting a Christian blog entry.)

You're still the one

If you take a tabola raza mind, just concentrate on the lyrics and the beauty of this song, you will find that this song is about God.

This song is about love,
it's abut faith
it's about hope
it's about resurrection

(When I first saw you, I saw love.
And the first time you touched me, I felt love.
And after all this time, you're still the one I love.)

Looks like we made it
Look how far we've come my baby
We mighta took the long way
We knew we'd get there someday

Bridge:
They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together still going strong

Chorus:
(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss good night

Ain't nothin' better
We beat the odds together
I'm glad we didn't listen
Look at what we would be missin'

The Assumption of Mary into Heaven

Mary was assumed into heaven. This is not found in the Bible but in Catholic faith tradition.

Many believe that (that includes me before) Mary did not die, i.e. she was taken straight into heaven. But such is wrong, Mary died first before she was assumed into heaven. (see this link christian blog). In fact there were arguments whether her tomb was in Jerusalem or Ephesus.

It's just proper for Mary to die before being taken into heaven because unles a seed fell into the ground it remains still a seed . . . she needs to die in order to be transformed into her glorified body.

Imagine if Mary was taken stright into heaven with her earthly body, then she will be the least in heaven for our eartly body is full of imperfections.

Like Jesus, they found an empty tomb in Mary's case. She was taken into heaven not with her earthly body, but with her glorified body.

How much is seventy seven times

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 18:21-35.19:1.

Then Peter approaching asked him, "Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?" Jesus answered, "I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times. That is why the kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who decided to settle accounts with his servants. When he began the accounting, a debtor was brought before him who owed him a huge amount. Since he had no way of paying it back, his master ordered him to be sold, along with his wife, his children, and all his property, in payment of the debt. At that, the servant fell down, did him homage, and said, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you back in full.' Moved with compassion the master of that servant let him go and forgave him the loan. When that servant had left, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a much smaller amount. He seized him and started to choke him, demanding, 'Pay back what you owe.' Falling to his knees, his fellow servant begged him, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.' But he refused. Instead, he had him put in prison until he paid back the debt. Now when his fellow servants saw what had happened, they were deeply disturbed, and went to their master and reported the whole affair. His master summoned him and said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you your entire debt because you begged me to. Should you not have had pity on your fellow servant, as I had pity on you?' Then in anger his master handed him over to the torturers until he should pay back the whole debt. So will my heavenly Father do to you, unless each of you forgives his brother from his heart." When Jesus finished these words, he left Galilee and went to the district of Judea across the Jordan.

Notice that Jesus said not seven times but seventy times seven. But how come that the wicked servant was handed to the torturers. He was only forgiven once, in other words, it's just the second time, if he was then forgiven? So what happened to the seventy seven times?

We are all sinners

"Go away from me Lord, for I am a sinner." This is what Peter said when he followed Jesus command to lower the net and then he caught loads of fish.

This is also what most of us think when the idea of going to church or praying come into our mind.

We think that just because we are sinners, we are not worthy to commune with God. The truth is God doesn't mind. Peter learned his lesson that''s why he held on even though he denied Jesus three times. Unfortunately, Judas was not, he thought he was no longer worthy to be ond of the twelve.

Read Luke 15:3-7

He told them this parable.

"Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, would’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing. When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance."

Jesus at one point fed 5000 people in the Bible.

Question: who counted them, was it exactly 5000 people.

A boy happened to have 5 fish and 5 loaves of bread. Don't you find this strange for a boy to follow the crowd bring 5 loaves of bread and 5 fish. Why five.

Sing Your Praise

He who sings his prayer
Prays twice

CFL

but why did Jesus not sing at all. Or nothing in said about him singing?

Two possible reasons:

1. Jesus did not know how to sing.
2. Singing a hymn of praise helps you focus, Jesus can easily direct all his attentions, mind heart and thought to his Father, he did not need the leverage of singing.

Christian music is very important in all kind of worship gatherings of Christians fellowship.

When we sing we feel more the presence of the Holy Spirit. We become more focus and we feel a holy presence deep within.
