Past gives us an identity. Future holds the promise of salvation, of fulfillment in whatever forms. Both are illusions. Believing that we can find our heaven in the future just gives us a present hell. While the present moment, it is where we can find God, true happiness. as the saying goes “ the present moment is a gift that’s why it’s called present.
