Lord, that I may see agian

Lord, that I may see again. This is from a blind man who has been shouting the name of Jesus Son of David in which Jesus approached and asked if what does he wanted. And that was his answer.

Christian life is partaking in the mission of Jesus in our own unique way relative to our own calling and talent. This means that we should do what Jesus did in accordance to our God-given gifts. So what did Jesus do? He taught he preached, he made friends with others, he prayed, he cured the sick. One very special form of healing practiced by Jesus is re-storing eyesight, or healing the blind. Healing during the time of Jesus was also called miracles.

Today, blinds are not hopeless; they can still have their eyesight back. They can see again because there are people today, like Jesus, who helps in bringing eyesight to our blind brothers. Their works are also miracles, for like Jesus they help people who wanted to see again.

Physicians who cure other people’s eyes are sharing in the healing ministry of Jesus. They are miracles to their patients. We need to encourage, rally behind, and support. Yes we need to support them. By supporting them the more that they can help our blind brothers and sisters and the more that we partake in Jesus’ mission.
