Bible Study

The Bible is a collection of different books written by different authors at different times. To understand it one must be able to know the context in which a particular book is written.

Understanding the culture and the historical background of the people during the time of their writing will serve very useful in understanding the Bible. One must also pay particular attention to the literary forms employed by the authors. The more we know about them the more we could benefit from the Bible.

One thing that we should always bear in mind, the Bible exists for a very long time and has been consistently a best seller over those times. This is so because when we read the bible we encounter God. It is a personal encounter which leads to a personal relationship. Studying the Bible enriches faith and relationship with God.
