What is Like in Heaven

What's heavens likely to be?

This can be best explain in terms of time. Or maybe by negating time. At the end of time the complere revelation will be.

In heaven you don't have to ask what time is it. It is always now. In heaven history is immaterial nor the futre.

The pains on earth are all about fear, fear that the past pains may happen in the furture. This tension created by this fear is the source of our unhappiness.

Don't worry about the morrow as Jesus said.

Today right now is what matters most.

You can be in heaven whilst still on earth by simply focusing to the present time, now.

Peace and quiet follows. This is heavens like.

Silver Luster of Many Years

My only accessory that I wear is my wrist watch made of silver. It was my mom’s old wrist watch which she gave to me when I was still in high school. Now I’m twenty three and the watch is not functioning anymore but I am still using its bracelet in my recent watch because it is still very lustrous even though it has served me and my mom for many years. Recently I found out that the available silver in our planet is diminishing because of severe industrial use. So if you want to have authentic silver accessories you should purchase one immediately.

Jun Lozada and Jesus

The essence of being a Christian is now being embodied by Jun Lozada. He is now being arrested and will soon be imprisoned because he is being accused of perjury.

Jesus did not simply die on the cross for the sake of dying on the cross. He died on the cross because he stood for the truth despite the risk of being crucified. He could simply turn his back and preach somewhere else in order to play safe and avoid being killed, ridiculed, and shamed. But he knows that even death has no power over him.

Jun Lozada by being consistent in what he believe is true know that death, imprisonment has no power over him. Coming soon is his ‘resurrection’ amidst all this nonsense allegations against him.

Arresting Jun Lozada will only encourage others to support him and fight against graft and corruption in the Philippines.

Crucifxion

Jesus saved us by dying on the cross.

Therefore if he was not crucified then we were not saved.

Hence if the people chose Jesus instead of Barabas then we were not saved. (Thanks to those blood thirsty Jews.)

If Pilate did not listen to the people and exonerate Jesus from the alleged blasphemy then we were not saved. (Oh how sweet of you Pilate.)

If Judas did not betray Jesus then there was no crucifixion. (St. Judas pray for us.)

While it’s true that Jesus death and resurrection had saved us but the belief that He has to die on the cross in order to save us is simply rubbish.) Otherwise we partly owed our salvation to Pilate, Judas and the rest of the Gang.

Prophecies in the Bible

The Prophecies in the Bible suggest that what had happened to Jesus have been already foretold by the prophets in the Old Testament.

Thinking deeper, if such things are destined to happen then everything is just a show. They are just like characters in a play doing their own respective roles. If this is the case then redemption is nothing but a stage play.

Fulfilment of the prophecies is contradictory to Christian teaching of human freedom.

So why did the authors of the New Testament made references in the Old Testament with respect to Jesus life?

Religion Vs Faith

Religion and Faith are two different things. In the strictest sense, religion has nothing to do with faith.

Not all baptized catholics believed in catholic faith or share the same faith.

Religion is an organization while faith is a personal relationship with God. One can be a believer even without being baptized by any religions, sects or Christian denominations.

Totalcatholic.com simply demosntrate this in its discussion forum in which catholics themselves argue on many theological issues.

The Glorified Body

The glorified body of Jesus.

Catholics believe in the resurrection of the dead. This is when our earthly body resurrect into glorified body. This is different from resucitated body, in which a dead body comes back to life, i.e. there is no significant change before it dies and after it comes back to life.

In resurrection, the physical body becomes glorified body. This body is a perfect one, it never grows old, it has no scars or any other forms of imperfection. It is also no longer governed by the principle of contradiction. In other words this body can transcend space and time.

But don't you notice that Thomas was able to put his fingers in Jesus side, hands and feet. Places in Jesus body where the spear and nails passed through? If that is so then it's not consistent with common understanding of a glorified body, ie. absense of imperfection.

Perhaps, this doubting Thomas story is just an adds on just to prove to the Jews that Jesus indeed rose from the dead.

The Blinds Can Now See

The mission of Jesus is to show us the love of God to all the people. Jesus is a sign and symbol of God's Love. He showed us this love by teaching, exorcising and healing. Among these three healing is the one which interests many of us. In many instances Jesus performed miracles by means of curing different kind of infirmities and many of which are curing blind people.

There are many stories about Jesus curing the blinds, giving them their eyesight back. Below is one of them:

John 9:13-25 I was blind, but now I see

They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man's eyes was a Sabbath. Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. "He put mud on my eyes," the man replied, "and I washed, and now I see."

Perhaps during those times eye problems are not as simple as now a days. Today if you feel you have problem with your eyesight all you need to do is to visit an eye doctor or a ophthalmologist and they can easily prescribe you with the appropriate eyeglasses.

The best things in life are free but you need good eyes to enjoy them: sunset, clouds, rainbows, natural landscapes, and many more.
. . . and remember quality eyeglasses does not necessarily mean high cost. You can have one at an affordable price but with very good quality. read more
