The bible is the word of God. It is holy and written by inspired writers. But nonetheless, it should be read with care and in good faith.
The argument: "Is it written in the bible" should never be use at all. Jacob and his mother had cheated Essau of his birthright and yet Jacob is still believed to be one of Christian patriarchs. He also fathered children from several women, which is a bit unChristianly.

Most of the great men and women of the Bible had a time in their lives when they were disobedient and sinned against God. There was only one who was without sin, the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe the Bible uses the failings of God's chosen people to show us that even though we fail and fall into temptation, He stands ready when we repent to still use us and make us bear fruit for His kingdom. ReplyDeleteBut on this time and age the story of Jesus vs. Barabas is still common. It's quite so unfair that there you are trying to be a good person and everything and then all of the sudden a very chaotic group of people or family will show up and they will seem to be the ruler of the world. Also my question is, will you consider it a crime if you kill someone with your negligence? For example if you are a caregiver to a person with a weak heart and lungs but you act rough-hewn and cause that person to die.
ReplyDeleteI am also wondering many are claiming that they are catholic serving as an usher on their church but when they come home all they do is to bullshit and fuck their wifes and those who are innocent. they do not know how to practice humanity. some people are also user they use those who are weak, the woman, the kids, the elderly for their own good. Like in the story of titanic when the ship is about the sink, this villain use the child to be able to save himself and to be able to get a space on the lifeboat. but still how does the story ends this villain survive and this hero died.
