Christian understanding of how to 'be like Christ'

http://www.helium.com/tm/306589
To be like Christ is to do what Christ had done during his earthly life. This does not mean copying what Christ had done but rather doing things in the same manner that he did. In other words it is not about doing what he did but how he did it.
If you examine closely the life of Christ you would find out that he lived a life with a mission. He preached, he cured the sick, and he exorcised bad spirits. All these are leading to one thing, i.e. to proclaim the Kingdom of God or simply to Tell the World of His Love'.
Whilst doing his mission he met many oppositions but he never falter. He was loyal to his mission till the end. He was rejected, criticised and persecuted and eventually murdered in a most humiliating way but he did not falter. He was loyal to his mission even it cost his life.
To answer now the question: How do we become like Christ. In the light of the above we can say that we should tell the world of His Love in our own capacity. If you are a teacher, be the best teacher teach the children well. If you are a singer sing songs that would inspire people to do good, sing songs that would make people feel good. If you are a politician, be honest, be fair and don't play dirty games. . .(more>>)
